OOTD Alicante

I can't believe that I've been home from Spain almost a week today and I'm only just getting around to uploading pictures, but life is busy and annoying like that sometimes!

Oh my goodness, I feel so hot just looking at this photograph.
 I'm quite sun-shy and don't really deal with heat so well.
 In this picture I was dealing with a little sun burn on my shoulders which explains my choices. 

I was wearing black sixties inspired glasses from primark, a black bodycon dress from miss selfridge, flat black sandals from zara, a black leather backpack and most importantly a sheer black sun cover up from the eighties..

I inherited the dress from my mum and just find it absolutely hilarious because I used to wear it on halloween when I was a little girl, it used to come all the way down to my ankles.

Hello everyone

Sorry it's been a while, I've been soooo busy relaxing on a beach in Spain. haha.

Before I left I photographed a Toni&Guy competition in London, I believe it is where the young training stylists at T&G salons all over the country congregate to compete.

There was such strong talent in the room and I've picked out a couple of looks to share with you.

It was nice to see some vintage beauties in a room full of contemporary ladies!

Hope  you all like the pictures. 

Remember that your local T&G stylists are creative artists and would be able to create a vintage look for you for a special event.

There are quite a few reasons why I love this editorial, by Richard Bernardin:

the heavy vignette, the location isn't so dissimilar to my nan's house, the white nail polish (my trademark this summer..) the glass of neat whiskey which I'm slowly learning to love thanks to too many nights out last weekend with my boyfriend and, most importantly, Dajana Antic's never ending legs.

Last winter I shot Sally Farrant under the arches in Birmingham.
